UI/UX design
Design websites and apps that people find easy to use, so more visitors become customers and fewer users give up. We plan user journeys, create wireframes and prototypes and design clear, accessible interfaces for businesses across the UK and worldwide.
UX (user experience) design is about how something works: the steps a person takes, what they need at each step and how easy it is to finish a task, such as booking or buying. UI (user interface) design is how it looks: layout, buttons, typography, colours and visual details.
Good products need both. A beautiful screen that is confusing to use fails, and so does a logical journey that looks untrustworthy.
What we offer
Understanding your users’ goals, problems and questions before designing anything.
Mapping the steps to key actions, such as enquiring, booking or checking out.
Simple layouts that agree structure and content before visual design.
Clickable prototypes you can test with real users before development.
Polished, on-brand screens for websites, web apps and mobile apps.
Accessibility
We design to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA where possible. That means readable text sizes and contrast, clear focus states for keyboard users, forms with proper labels and error messages, and layouts that work with screen readers and zoom.
Accessible design helps more people use your product, supports your duties under the Equality Act 2010 to make reasonable adjustments, and usually makes the experience clearer for everyone. If you trade in other countries, local rules differ, and we check them with you. This is general information, not legal advice.
Who it is for
UI/UX design suits businesses building a new website or app, or improving one where users drop off or get confused.
