QR code systems

QR Code Systems for Businesses in the UK and Worldwide

Turn tables, counters, windows, packaging and leaflets into a quick way for customers to reach your menu, an offer, a feedback form or your loyalty card. We plan, design and manage QR codes that you can update and track, for businesses across the UK and worldwide.

What is a QR code system?

A QR code system is a set of QR codes, the pages they open and the tools to manage them. Customers point their phone camera at a code and land on the right page in seconds, without typing a web address.

A single QR code on a poster is easy to make. The value of a system is control: you can change where a code points without reprinting it, see how many people scan each one, and keep every code on-brand and safe to use.

What we set up

Ways businesses use QR codes

Menus and price lists

Digital menus and price lists that you can update at any time, for restaurants, cafés, salons and venues.

Feedback forms

Short feedback forms on tables, receipts or counters so you hear about problems while you can still fix them.

Reviews

Codes that open your Google review form, used in line with Google’s rules on asking for reviews.

Loyalty sign-up

Let customers join your digital stamp card by scanning a code at the till.

Offers and campaigns

Codes on leaflets, posters and packaging that open a specific offer, so you can see which campaign brings people in.

Product information and check-in

Instructions, specifications, warranty sign-up, event check-in or visitor sign-in, one scan away.

Static vs dynamic

Static and dynamic QR codes: what is the difference?

A static QR code stores the destination inside the code itself. It works without any service behind it, but you cannot change where it points or see how often it is scanned. If the web address changes, you have to reprint.

A dynamic QR code points to a short link that you control. You can change the destination at any time, pause it, and see scans by date and location. This is what we usually recommend for anything printed in volume, such as menus, packaging or table cards.

Static codes are still fine for things that never change, such as your Wi-Fi details or a business card. We will tell you which type suits each use.

Good practice

How to make QR codes that people trust and scan

  • Tell people what they will get. A short line such as “Scan to order” or “Scan for 10% off your next visit” gets far more scans than a code on its own.
  • Print them large and clear enough. High contrast, a clear border around the code and a size that suits the scanning distance. We test every code on several phones before you print.
  • Protect customers from fake codes. QR scams, sometimes called “quishing”, work by sticking a fake code over a real one. Use codes that open a page on your own domain, show your business name, and check public codes regularly for stickers.
  • Send people to a mobile-friendly page. A code that opens a slow desktop page or a PDF loses people quickly.
  • Respect privacy. If a scan leads to a form that collects personal data, it needs a clear privacy notice and should only ask for what you need.

Who it is for

Is a QR code system right for your business?

QR codes suit any business where customers are physically present or holding something you gave them: restaurants, shops, salons, clinics, gyms, events, trades and product brands.

  • You reprint menus, price lists or leaflets often
  • You want to know which leaflet or poster actually works
  • Customers ask the same questions at the counter
  • You want more feedback, reviews or loyalty sign-ups
  • You want codes that match your brand, not generic black squares

How it works

How we set up your QR code system

01

Free consultation

We look at where customers would scan and what you want them to do next.

02

Plan the pages

We decide which codes are needed and build or improve the mobile pages they open.

03

Design and test

We design branded codes and print-ready files, then test them on different phones.

04

Track and update

You see scans per code, and we update destinations as your offers and menus change.

FAQs

QR code questions answered

Do customers need an app to scan a QR code?

Usually not. Most modern iPhones and Android phones scan QR codes with the built-in camera app. Some older phones need a scanning app, so it is worth keeping key information available another way too.

Can I change where a QR code goes after printing it?

Yes, if it is a dynamic QR code. The code points to a short link we manage, so the destination can be changed without reprinting. Static codes cannot be changed.

Can I see how many people scan my QR codes?

Yes, with dynamic codes. You can see the number of scans for each code over time, which shows which tables, posters or leaflets are working.

Can a QR code include my logo and brand colours?

Yes. We can add your colours and logo, as long as the code still has enough contrast to scan reliably. We test every design before you print it.

How much does a QR code system cost?

It depends on how many codes and pages you need and whether you want tracking. We give you a clear quote after a free consultation. See how we price projects.
